Hello, I’m Mystic! Or they like to call me Mystique. I’m the apprentice here at Aloha Tattoos, and have been the last 6 months. I was very nervous reaching out to shops and eagerly excited when Aloha reached back out, giving me the biggest opportunity of my life! Looking back to where I started, I would say that everything I know today is because of the amazing help from the artists here at the shop. I was the shy, quiet, and very nervous apprentice starting out — turning into the independent, bright, and friendly apprentice as of today! Practice after practice and drawing after drawing, with the help and advice given from everyone, has helped push techniques and new ways of learning that I didn’t think would be some good ways of doing lines. Being able to have this amazing opportunity, especially at my age, is the most grateful thing ever. The artists are all like family and I would pick this shop over and over for every lifetime!
