Con todo, and with all the weight and relief for me to do this and show it publicly, here I go. This took a tremendous amount of courage and learning, many months of thinking mostly. And I’m opening about it now. Took over a year and not because it took so much physical work, but because it took so much for me to wrap my head around this and not wanting to disappoint. For me this is not just a painting but my best take of a study of a work from my good old mentor, thought bout it for years and last year decided to finally do my own take on it. So in simple words this is based on someone else’s painting which inspired me though out the years and I’m still learning from him. This means a lot to me in so many different trajectories. But I finally did it and it’s far from perfect or good even. But this is what I have. For better or worse this is my take my good old master and thank you for your honest opinion and being hard on me.
